WVLY is the Ohio Valley's variety radio station. Our philosophy is to provide informative and entertaining shows that are family friendly and offer a variety of points of view. We think that talk radio has become too confrontational and angry and in many cases too scatological and "dirty". We offer old-fashion "conversation" for men AND women, liberals AND conservatives; we talk about politics AND personal relationships.

Local talk shows include Howard Monroe from 7-10am and Hoppy Kercheval 10-Noon, plus local and regional news from WV Metronews and the Ohio News Network.

The weekends include Dr. Scott Shalaway with the "Wild Side" program on birds and nature as well as the "West Virginia Insider" which focuses on Mountain State politics and is syndicated from WVLY to other stations around the state.

The station is owned and operated by Howard Monroe through his company Monroe Communications, LLC.
